I am a native English teacher who was born and raised in Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. I have always loved learning languages myself, so becoming an English teacher seemed like a great career. I attended the University of Liverpool from 2012-2016 studying for a bachelor's degree in German and Spanish. I spent 1 year studying in Barcelona and Bremen as an Erasmus student. After graduating with a 2-1 in my degree, I fulfilled my dream of moving to Spain to teach English. I shortly gained my TEFL qualification and starting teaching as Cambridge English teacher in 2 private language academies between 2018-2021. I have experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels. I specialised in preparing students for Cambridge exams which was my favourite part. In 2020, I was introduced to online teaching and thought it was something I would like to try out. After a few months of teaching for some of the biggest Chinese ESL companies, I was hooked and decided I wanted to work full time from home, teaching students from all over the world.

I fell in love with the idea of being able to work from anywhere, whilst meeting and teaching students from so many different cultures, backgrounds etc. I had found my dream job! Over the past few years, I have worked for almost all of the biggest online ESL companies and gained so much experience. I have taught students from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, USA, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, France, Spain and mostly recently Romania. I briefly worked for a Romanian online ESL company which unfortunately closed down after only a few months of working there. As a result, I have now built my own online school which has been a dream of mine since starting teaching. I offer classes for students from 3 years to adults of all ages and levels. I combine creating my own fun, interactive lessons whilst also following Cambridge course books. I prepare students for Cambridge exams, help adults with translations or general language practice.

In August 2024, I was selected to work alongside Cambridge Assessment English as an assessment specialist (item writer) to write exams. I am currently working on DYL (Digital Young Learners) exams in my spare time. I am very passionate about how online education is changing and excited to be a part of it.
